1.Prizes. Prize consists of the item as currently promoted in the contest, said

item to be determined in advance solely by ParamountShots.com.

Paramountshots.com may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Prizes

are not transferable. Winner may not choose cash or alternative prizes unless a cash price or an alternative choice is offered.  Standard Domestic Shipping is included for North America. Additional shipping expenses are the responsibility of the winner. ALL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OF ANY PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. All prizes will be awarded. The odds of winning the prize will be determined by the number of eligible entries received throughout the Contest Period.

2.Eligibility. All entries are accepted as long as Paramountshots.com deems them appropriate.  All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations

apply. Offer void where prohibited. Paramountshots.com can accept only those

entries that are completed and submitted as specified in the contest

announcement and dates. Paramountshots.com will not be responsible or liable for: (a)

any failure to receive entries owing to transmission failures and other

conditions beyond its reasonable control or (b) any printing or typographical

errors in any materials associated with the Contest. You certify that you have taken this photograph and that as such, it reflects your own efforts and creativity. You understand that it might be published by Paramountshots.com on the Internet or as part of a contest. The community of photographers who use this website for self-expression will also be able to view and share your photograph or links to your photograph, always as your original work and under your own copyright.

3.Winner Selection. The winner will be determined by the rules as specified in

the contest announcement. Where voting booths are used they they will determine

the winner. The final winner is selected by registered users of Paramountshots.com and is based on the rating score. If a selected winner is unreachable or ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return an executed affidavit and consent within 21 days of when sent, the winner will forfeit his or her prize and the prize will be awarded during a later contest.

4.General Release. By entering the Contest, you release Paramountshots.com,

and its respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees,

representatives, and agencies from any liability whatsoever for any claims,

costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection

with the Contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize

(including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, and losses related to

personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of

publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). By entering the

Contest, you also give Paramountshots.com, and its respective affiliated

companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agencies, and

strategic partners permission to contact you concerning products, services,

membership benefits, association news and information, and any other

applicable information.

5.Conditions. Paramountshots.com is not responsible for any lost, late,

misdirected or garbled computer transmissions or network, computer,

telephone, or electronic failures of any kind including any communications or

computer failures or circumstances which affect, disrupt or corrupt the contest

in any manner.

6.Affidavit. As a condition of receiving any prize, winners will be required to

execute an affidavit of eligibility and, unless prohibited by applicable law,

consent to the use of their name, home town, likeness, and/or prize

information for promotional and other purposes without further payment,

except where prohibited by law. In addition, by entering the Contest, unless

prohibited by applicable law, entrants consent to being placed on

Paramountshots.com's mailing list.

7.Winners List and Official Rules. To obtain the name of the winners, send a

request (along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope) to Paramountshots.com using the contact us buttom.

8. Photoscoring,  your photo score will be calculated as follows: 

(Number of Voters) * (Average of votes)

When the scoring is used to rate a photo it will be calculated based on the number of votes since the photo entered the contest to midnight of the night the contest is closed.

9.Miscellaneous. Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by

the decisions of Paramountshots.com, which are final and binding in all

respects. Paramountshots.com reserves the right to change these rules or

cancel the Contest at any time, at its sole discretion.

This contest is void where prohibited. Paramountshots.com may prohibit

entrants from participating in the contest and disqualify entries if they attempt

to enter the contest through means not described in the rules, attempt to

disrupt the contest or circumvent the rules, act in an unsportsmanlike manner

or with an intent to annoy or harass any other entrant or Paramountshots.com.

Using the sites messaging systems (forum posts, private messages,

comments etc..) to notify potential voters of a vote. Members are free to use certificates and other promotional tools provided by the site as a means of promotion.

While the administrators and moderators of Paramountshots.com will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts and photos made  express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of Paramountshots.com have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic / photo at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.  You agree that any request made by law officials to release data regarding any photo can be released without any liability to Paramountshots.com.  Any one requiring to use your photos must contact you for permission.  If a request is made through Paramountshots.com to buy the right to use your photo we will contact you and help you negotiate and we shall discuss the terms with you at that time.

This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered above; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).

Paramountshots.com reserves the right to crop registered photographs for display purposes, if necessary, and for other needs as required.

Parental Release: Photographs of children (when recognizable in the photograph) must have a written and signed consent by a parent or legal guardian of the child or children "on file. before you submit the photograph.  By submitting any photograph that has a child.s picture on it you guarantee that you have a signed release in your position that may be requested at any time.

Model/Portrait Release: Photographs of adults (when recognizable in the photograph) must have a written and signed consent "on file" with you before submitting the photo.  We may ask for a copy of that release at any time.

In the event that ownership of any photograph submitted to Paramountshots.com is contested in any manner, we reserves the right to remove and disqualify the photograph from the  gallery and any contests.

Release by the Photographer

I certify that I am the person who took the photograph(s) submitted here (collectively, the "Photographs"), that I own the copyrights to the Photographs, and that I have the authority to enter into this Release;

I release Paramountshots.com from any liability whatsoever that arises from the use of the Photographs. I agree to work in good faith with Paramountshots.com to promptly resolve any problems or disputes that may arise due to my registration of the Photographs.

By registering my Photographs with Paramountshots.com, I grant Paramountshots.com the royalty-free and non-exclusive right to use my Photographs as follows: (i) on the Paramountshots.com website; and (ii) in Paramountshots.com electronic emails. I further waive the right to inspect or approve the final use of my Photographs by Paramountshots.com for the above uses.

I understand that my Photographs will not be otherwise distributed to any third party or sponsors without my permission.
